The winner is Claus Schrammel (see his submition).
All other logos listed here are property of their authors, and are only listed here for historical reasons.
The gnuTLS project is in the process of looking for a logo. gnuTLS is a library
implementing a secure layer over a reliable transport layer (ie. TCP/IP).
Currently gnuTLS implements the protocols TLS 1.0 and SSL 3.0.
The logo should meet the following criteria:
- it must be easily recognizable as the gnuTLS logo
- relates to security/encryption
- it must be scalable
- it should not be too detailed, so it works in low resolution
and also:
- All entries must demonstrate that any artwork and images used are the
original work of the entrant, and are unencumbered by any third-party
copyrights or trademarks.
- By submitting an entry, you agree to grant gnuTLS project a non-exclusive,
royalty-free license to use your logo entry for purposes of the contest,
and if chosen as the winner, for any other purpose relating to gnuTLS.
- All entries should be submitted before January 1, 2002. They will
be placed on the
gnuTLS logo contest website
.
Entries should be sent to
gnutls-logo-contest@gnupg.org
.
The winner (decided by the gnuTLS developers) will be awarded with eternal
honor and fame. Other than that, an e-mail address at gnutls.org will be
offered.
