Introduction to GNU Phantom.Security

GNU Phantom.Security is a computer controlled security system.

GNU Phantom.Security uses a simple electronic circuit that you build (the circuit diagram is included, and can be completed by even a novice with minimal electronics experience... or get a friend to do it :) ). The device (Phantom.Controller) is connected to a parallel port on your computer. You can connect security devices to Phantom.Controller such as door magnets, motion sensors, and smoke detectors! You can usually use any off-the-shelf item with a simple modification. Examples and sample setups are included in the GNU Phantom.Security package. GNU Phantom.Security can be used in small home or office settings or can be expanded into a large networked system!
